FOUNDATION FEBRUARY

So Many Ways to Support MHC!

Much has happened in 2017 for the Mile Hi Church Foundation, enabling us to support Mile Hi Church even more effectively. All of this will be showcased during Foundation February 2018.

DINNER WITH A MINISTER!

Stop by and see us each Sunday in February, at either the west Sanctuary lobby or Community Center, and enter our drawing for dinner with a minister! The Foundation will provide a $200 gift certificate to a local restaurant where you and your plus one can dine with either Dr. Michelle or Rev. Joshua.

FULLY-UPDATED WEBSITE

One of the new tools the Foundation has available to congregants is a brand new website, now with an area specifically dedicated to planned giving. This page, which is also linked from www.milehichurch.org, describes the many types of planned giving options available, such as charitable gift annuities. Tools model how your unique situation might play out with tax, income and charitable donation considerations.

Our planned giving ambassador, Charlie Goldsmith, can also help answer any questions you may have and support you with putting into place any of these giving vehicles.

EXPANDED RECOGNITION FOR GIVING

For over 30 years, the Foundation has recognized individuals who have committed gifts to the church via legacy – whether through a will, trust, insurance policy, retirement plan or other beneficiary designation – as Nautilus members. With the Giving While Living program and other types of gifts coming in, these current donors will be designated as Friends of the Foundation. We will retain the Nautilus membership for legacy donors.

CHAPEL ENHANCEMENTS AND SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Stop by and check out the newly installed, beautiful new fountain in the Vogt Chapel, sponsored by practitioner and Foundation director Judy Turner.

This water feature enhances the peaceful for all to spend time in meditation and quiet contemplation. In 2018, the Foundation is also kicking off an opportunity to sponsor tiles inside the chapel and on the outside wall. These can be used to memorialize a loved one, a pet or your own support of Mile Hi Church.
